​Andy-John Kalkounos
Palatine Township Supervisor

Andy-John Kalkounos was raised in Palatine Township and still resides there with his wife, who is an elementary school teacher & their two young children who attend District 15 schools. He was educated at Marion Jordan Elementary School, Plum Grove Junior High, Fremd High School, Harper College and Butler University where he earned his business degree. In 2016, he was elected a Trustee of Palatine Township and is now seeking to expand his commitment as Township Supervisor.
Andy-John is a small business owner/advocate who operates several family-owned, local fine-dining establishments and employs more than 100 hospitality professionals. He also maintains his real estate license as a managing broker. Andy-John is a SAG/AFTRA Union actor with guest-star roles in such NBC/FOX dramas as Chicago Fire & Proven Innocent.
Previously, he served multiple terms on both the Harper College Foundation Board and as Chairman for Meet Chicago Northwest Convention and Visitors Bureau. Andy-John currently serves on the Village of Schaumburg Business Development Commission. He has been recognized as a “Distinguished Alumni” of Harper College and recently received the “Entrepreneurial Excellence Award” presented by the Daily Herald Business Ledger. Andy-John looks forward to continuing to serve Palatine Township with a pragmatic, servant-leader approach.
Bill Pohlman Township Assessor www.palatineunitedrepublicans.com Bill has lived in Palatine since 1976 and has spent 40 years working in communications. He has worked at AP Ltd for 35 years, an advertising and internet development firm, and has been a partner since 1994. He specializes in Palatine public relations. In 2013, Bill was elected as a Trustee for Palatine Township. As a Trustee, he assists in budget development and financial stability. He chairs the Human Needs, Website and Newsletter committees. In 2016, he was awarded the Patriot Award by the Township for his years of service in the community. He has been a Jaycee since 1991 and a Lifetime Member since 2006. Bill has been a Son of the American Legion for 9 years and has co-chaired the Memorial Day program since 2011. He is also the Outreach Coordinator for the Palatine Township Republican Organization, co-chaired the wine booth at StreetFest and has acted as a committee member for Palatine’s St. Patrick’s Day festival since 2010.

​David Prichard
Executive Board Chair
David Prichard is a retired corporate vice president of communications, investor relations, public and media relations, and product marketing during his nearly 45-year career. He worked for a number of Fortune 1,000 publicly traded, global corporations across multiple industries in the Chicago area and Wisconsin and reported to numerous chief executive officers and chief financial officers.
Raised and educated in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Dave has lived in Palatine for the past 35 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Illinois.
Dave serves on several non-profit boards in the Chicagoland area. He also has been a volunteer in a number of Congressional, state and local political campaigns.
​John “Jack” Milwee
Treasurer
Jack Milwee is a retired mechanical designer and quality assurance engineer for a handful of companies in the Chicagoland area, including Recon/Optical Inc. in Barrington for more than 31 years. He has managed his own finances for decades as a hands-on investor. Appointed treasurer of the PTRO Board in September 2021, Jack brings a common sense approach and can-do spirit to PTRO and its members.
Jack has southern roots, having been born and spending his early childhood years in Texas. Given Jack as a nickname, he was raised in Olympia Fields, Illinois, beginning in 1968.
A graduate of Rich Central High School, Jack earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northern Illinois University. He and his wife have been residents of Palatine for 15 years. Jack has always been more conservative than most, as he votes for the most conservative candidate in all elections.
Jack has been active as a volunteer in his church and for a number of local, state and national political campaigns. He is an avid golfer.
​Dennis Wagner
Civics Forum Director
Dennis Wagner has 30 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry, currently with a medical malpractice insurance company. He earned his bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and psychology and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dennis joined PTRO in 2015 and has volunteered for various political campaigns, both locally and statewide. Given his interest in U.S. political history, he has been researching and writing in-depth posts on topics contained in past State of the Union addresses (www.stateoftheunionhistory.com).
Dennis and his wife and their three sons live in North Hoffman Estates. He is an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Palatine and previously was involved with Palatine youth baseball and football.
